A University of Minnesota Morris student is in custody after he reportedly tried to kill his instructor, stabbing them multiple times. Court records state Alexander William Cusey, 21, of Minneapolis, has been charged with four felonies, including attempted first-degree murder. You didn’t think there was someone like me at this school, did you? Court records state police were called to the University of Minnesota Morris campus for reports of a stabbing in the Humanities and Fine Arts building on Sept. 29. There, authorities found an injured person who said one of their students, later identified as Cusey, had stabbed them. According to a witness, the instructor had suddenly come into their office bleeding, stating they had been stabbed. When the witness went outside to see what had happened, they reportedly found Cusey in the building s percussion room and placed their foot on the door to keep him from leaving.
